While looking around at various beautyblogs Im noticing a trend of pointed nails. Its like acrylic nails that are shaped very pointed, almost like a witch. I dont get it? Although the nails are well done and very creative I cant image me having these. Can you? Do you like it?

have you seen that in the latest M Magazine (makeup store’s) all the nails are fashioned towards halloween and therefore are pointed too – though they were awesomely designed etc, i too dont understand the point (no pun intended!) – how can you do anything with pointed nails anyway? probably poke your eye out or stuff…

thanks for the reply! i got the issue wrong – it was in this issue 10, nr. 2 of MMagazine called “Captured”:

sorry for that mixup! still dont get it but… yes, the way that they were “designed” are pretty awesome in this issue – very halloween.

I think pointy nails are awful! I’m an oval girl myself, but I do see the beauty in squared nails, too. But pointy nails cause the fingers to look fat, IMO, and it seems like they’d be very hard to maneuver. Although it might be cute to have pointy nails decorated as Christmas trees…..
